Mikel Kobrin is a BIMA 2009 alumnus from Israel. He is currently studying music and music production in Israel.
Mikel recently posted an original guitar composition called “Underwater,” on YouTube, which is gaining great reviews.
We asked Mikel to send us some reflections on his experience at BIMA and an update about his life. He wrote:
BIMA was one of my best music experiences and happiest memories. As a BIMA 2009 participant, I learned a lot about music, met many musician friends and amazing teachers. Right now, I am trying to promote myself as a singer/songwriter. I compose and write songs in English, and I play them in my shows in Israel. In May 2012, I will finish my studies for music production and I hope to make an album – and moreover to try my luck as an American musician.
